Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup frozen peas & carrots

1 cup beef broth

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried thyme

Salt & pepper to taste

4 cups mashed potatoes (homemade or store-bought)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish.

Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.

Add onion & garlic; cook until soft.

Stir in peas/carrots, broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire, thyme, salt & pepper.
Simmer 5–7 mins until slightly thickened. -
Transfer mixture to baking dish.

Spread mashed potatoes evenly on top.

Add cheddar cheese if using.

Bake 20–25 minutes or until golden on top and bubbling.
