Savory Turkey & Cranberry Crescent Ring
Ingredients:
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (about 16 crescents total)
2 cups (280 g) cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
½ cup (120 ml) cranberry sauce (jellied or whole berry)
1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
¼ cup (60 ml) mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried thyme
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Fresh thyme or parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix turkey, cranberry sauce, cheese, mayo/Greek yogurt, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until combined.
Arrange crescent dough triangles in a ring on the baking sheet, wide ends overlapping in the center and points facing outward (like a sun shape).
Spoon the turkey-cranberry filling around the base of the triangles.
Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck underneath to seal.
Brush the top with beaten egg.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
