Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- 2 cups cubed bread (slightly stale)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish. Melt butter in a pan and sauté the onion until soft. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, and seasoning. Place bread cubes in the dish, add ham and onion, pour egg mixture evenly, then top with mozzarella. Bake covered for 25 minutes, uncover, and bake another 15 minutes until set. Rest before serving.
