- 3.5 oz (100 g) sour cream
- 2.8 oz (80 g) mayonnaise
- 10.6 oz (300 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 7 oz (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- Paprika, for garnish
- Vegetable oil, for greasing
Step by Step Instructions
1: Prep the Meat Base
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with breadcrumbs, 1 egg, grated carrot, green onion, red onion, minced garlic, and chopped dill.
- Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and dried garlic to taste.
- Press this meat mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form an even layer.
2: Add the Creamy Layer
- In another bowl, mix sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Spread half of this mixture evenly over the meat layer.
3: Build the Layers
- Add a layer of sliced mushrooms.
- Follow with a layer of sliced tomatoes.
- Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top.
- Spread the remaining cream mixture over the cheese and dust with paprika.
4: Bake
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let the dish rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
