  • 1 egg
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • Salt, ground black pepper, dried garlic
  • 3.5 oz (100 g) sour cream
  • 2.8 oz (80 g) mayonnaise
  • 10.6 oz (300 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 7 oz (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Vegetable oil, for greasing

Step by Step Instructions

1: Prep the Meat Base

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with breadcrumbs, 1 egg, grated carrot, green onion, red onion, minced garlic, and chopped dill.
  • Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and dried garlic to taste.
  • Press this meat mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form an even layer.

2: Add the Creamy Layer

  • In another bowl, mix sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Spread half of this mixture evenly over the meat layer.

3: Build the Layers

  • Add a layer of sliced mushrooms.
  • Follow with a layer of sliced tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Spread the remaining cream mixture over the cheese and dust with paprika.

4: Bake

  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
