Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Thick-cut boneless pork chops 6
Paprika 2 ½ tbsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tbsp
Onion powder 2 tbsp
Dried oregano 1 tbsp
Dried thyme 1 tbsp
Adobo seasoning 1 tbsp
Large onion, sliced 1
Garlic cloves, minced 2
Butter 4 tbsp
Thinly sliced potatoes 4 cups
Cream of mushroom soup 1 can (10.75 oz)
Milk ½ cup

Instructions:

  1. Season the Pork Chops: Mix paprika, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, oregano, thyme, and adobo. Coat each pork chop evenly and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Baking Dish: Butter a 2-quart baking dish to prevent sticking.
  3. Brown the Chops: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, then sear the pork chops until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make the Mushroom Sauce: Add the remaining butter to the skillet and sauté the sliced onion until soft. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth. Remove from heat.
  5. Assemble: Layer the sliced potatoes evenly in the prepared dish. Place the browned pork chops on top, then pour the mushroom sauce over everything.
  6. Bake: Cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake another 40 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Serve: Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
